專訪帕普科(深圳)新材料有限公司聯合創始人馬泰諾。
A Talk with Matteo Pallotta, Founding Partner of Papkot (Shenzhen) New Materials.
深圳新聞網2026年7月15日訊(記者 劉玉蓮 朱佳若)把一張普通的紙放進實驗臺,涂上幾微米的功能層,它就開始變得不那么“紙”——不易透油、更能抗水,甚至接近透明,但它仍然是可隨紙流回收的纖維材料。
Place an ordinary sheet of paper on the lab bench, coat it with a functional layer just a few microns thick, and then it becomes “less paper-like” — it resists oil penetration, becomes more water-proof, and even appears almost transparent. Yet it remains a fiber material that can still be recycled along with ordinary paper waste.
這正是帕普科(深圳)新材料有限公司(以下簡稱“帕普科”)在做的事。
This is precisely what Papkot (Shenzhen) New Materials Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as “Papkot”) is doing.
從法國起步,到將全球總部遷至福田,帕普科正用獨特的“生物礦物化合物”方案,取代紙張和包裝行業里的塑料及其他有害化學物質。
Having started in France and now with its global headquarters in Futian, Papkot is developing its unique “biomineral compound” solutions to replace plastics and other harmful chemicals in paper and packaging industries.
給紙穿上“隱形鎧甲”
Equipping Paper with an “Invisible Armor”
“表面上看,這可能不是最光鮮的行業。”馬泰諾坦言,“但似乎很難找一個行業能對大眾產生更大的影響,因為每天都有數十億件物品被消耗,尤其是包裝。”
“At first glance, this may not be the most glamorous industry,” Matteo admits. “But it seems hard to find an industry with a greater impact on the general public, because billions of items are consumed every day—especially packaging.”
在全球禁塑浪潮下,帕普科選擇了一條社會影響力極大的賽道。
Amid a global wave of plastic bans, Papkot has chosen a sector with immense social impact.

帕普科的技術核心并不復雜,若將其拆解開,其實是三種自然界常見的元素:像沙子一樣的硅酸鹽、構成紙張本身的纖維素,以及賦予材料各類性能的脂肪酸。
His core technology is not profoundly complicated. Broken down, it consists of three elements commonly found in nature: sand-like silicate, cellulose constituting paper itself, and fatty acid imparting various properties to materials.
“關鍵在于,它們都是未經化學修飾的天然聚合物。”馬泰諾強調。通過將以上成分重新組合,帕普科的三大技術落地路徑隨之清晰,開發出能夠替代現有材料所需性能的涂層、粘合劑和添加劑。
“The key is that they are all natural polymers without chemical modification,” Matteo emphasizes. By recombining these components, Papkot’s three technological pathways become clear: developing coatings, adhesives, and additives that can replace existing materials for required properties.

這套思路徹底改變了傳統包裝依賴塑料層實現阻隔等性能的邏輯。
This approach has revolutionized the logic of traditional packaging relying on plastic layers to achieve barrier properties.
帕普科利用特定方式在紙張纖維表面和內部構建一層生物礦物網,賦予紙張原本屬于塑料的本領——防水、防油、防脂、耐熱、可熱封與加工等,同時又完全可回收、可生物降解,且不含塑料。
Papkot employs a specific method to develop a biomineral network on the surface of and within paper fibers, endowing paper with capabilities that come with plastic—water resistance, oil and grease resistance, heat resistance, heat-sealability, and processability—while remaining fully recyclable, biodegradable, and plastic-free.
區別于傳統化工企業,帕普科還將人工智能引入實驗,大幅提升研發效率。“我們至少是第一批真正在化學行業大規模應用人工智能,并成功將其從實驗室推向工業化的團隊。 ”馬泰諾說。
Unlike traditional chemical companies, Papkot has also introduced artificial intelligence into its experiments, significantly boosting R&D efficiency. “We are at least among the first cohort to truly apply AI on a large scale in the chemical industry, and successfully grow it from the lab to industrial production,” says Matteo.

從四個月到兩周的“福田速度”
From Four Months to Two Weeks: The “Futian Speed”
技術創新與跨界思維帶來的效果是驚人的。
Technological innovation and interdisciplinary thinking bring remarkable outcomes.
在德國一家大型連鎖超市里,許多裝著面包等烘焙食品、帶著透明視窗的包裝袋,正是帕普科首批且目前最具市場影響力的成果——讓紙張變得像塑料一樣透明的涂層技術。
In a major German chain supermarket, many packaging bags for baked goods like bread—those with transparent windows—are the result of Papkot’s first and currently most influential achievement in the market: a coating technology that makes paper as transparent as plastic.
此外,帕普科的應用版圖還在往外擴:紙杯、吸管、食品托盤、快餐及外賣包裝……
Beyond that, Papkot’s business landscape continues to expand: paper cups, straws, food trays, fast-food and takeaway packaging…

然而,將實驗室研發推向工業生產,曾是一場漫長的拉鋸戰。
However, moving lab R&D to industrial production was once a long, drawn-out battle.
馬泰諾回憶,在歐洲,做一次“研發-測試-反饋”的循環周期平均需要四個月。但在福田,最多只要兩周。“這種速度、創新和顛覆性的結合,在世界上任何其他地方都找不到。”
Matteo recalls that in Europe, the average cycle for one round of R&D – testing – feedback took four months. But in Futian, it takes at most two weeks. “This combination of speed, innovation, and disruptive force cannot be found anywhere else in the world.”
對于帕普科這樣的初創公司而言,每次迭代省下來的時間,都是在市場窗口關閉之前多一次試錯機會。
For a startup like Papkot, the time saved in each iteration represents one more opportunity to experiment before the market closes the window.
同時,作為粵港澳大灣區核心引擎之一深圳的中心城區,福田的區位優勢也成為吸引帕普科的關鍵因素。馬泰諾提到:“福田不僅是大灣區的延伸窗口,也成為帕普科真正走向國際擴張的窗口。”
Meanwhile, Futian, as the central urban district of Shenzhen, one of the core engines of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, enjoys geographic advantage, a key factor in attracting Papkot to establish its presence in the district. Matteo notes, “Futian is not only a gateway into the Greater Bay Area, but also a springboard for Papkot’s real global expansion.”
正因此,2024年,帕普科正式將全球總部遷至福田,并于次年2月宣布完成A輪融資,與Fedrigoni戰略聯盟,加速全球化進程。
For these reasons, Papkot officially relocated its global headquarters to Futian in 2024. In February of the following year, the company announced the completion of its Series A funding and a strategic alliance with Fedrigoni to accelerate its global expansion.

“變革性”的創業沃土
A Transformative, Fertile Ground for Entrepreneurship
要讓一家公司真正活下來并長起來,僅靠速度和區位還不夠。
For a company to truly survive and grow, speed and location alone are not enough.
作為一名外籍創業者,馬泰諾表示,在福田的創業之旅并非孤軍奮戰。盡管語言不通,但他實實在在獲得了來自本地生態的強大支撐。“依托福田區人民政府及本地合作伙伴,我們在人才招聘、產業對接、業務拓展等方面,都能獲得各類資源支持。”
As a foreign entrepreneur, Matteo says his entrepreneurial journey in Futian has not been a solitary endeavor. Despite the language barrier, he has received tangible, strong support from the local ecosystem. “With the backing of Futian District Government and local partners, we have access to various resources in talent recruitment, industry match-making, business development, and more.”
如今,帕普科已在福田擁有約1400平方米的辦公空間和20余人的研發團隊。
At present, Papkot occupies some 1,400 square meters of office space in Futian hosting a R&D team of over 20 people.

談及未來,馬泰諾的目光投向了更具行業影響力的添加劑產品線。
Looking ahead, Matteo has set his sights on product lines with even greater industry influence: additives.
他的邏輯很務實,在整個產業鏈條中,涂層更偏向下游,競爭激烈。而添加劑瞄準的是造紙廠,位于價值鏈最上游。
He has a pragmatic logic: within the entire industrial chain, coatings are more downstream with intense competition. Additives, on the other hand, target paper mills, positioned at the very upstream of the value chain.
不同于涂在表面的涂層,添加劑是在造紙濕端(Wet End)直接加入紙漿內,與紙漿纖維結合,從源頭改變紙張的機械性能,這將有望觸達更龐大的市場規模。“如果我們的解決方案能在這一環節被整合,將最容易實現規模化,真正影響到每一個人的生活。”
Unlike coatings applied to the surface, additives are introduced directly into the pulp in the wet end of the paper-making process, bonding with the pulp fibers to alter the mechanical properties of the paper from the source. This promises the potential to reach a much larger market scale. “If our solution can be integrated at this stage, it will be the easiest to scale up and truly impact everyone’s daily lives.”

如果用一句話總結在福田的創業感受,馬泰諾只選了一個詞:變革性。
Asked to sum up his entrepreneurial experience in Futian in a single word, Matteo picks just one: TRANSFORMATIVE.
